Ask if you have questions. I am a real person and glad to talk with you.
Why the Scottish influence?
I am Scotch-Irish. (You see my family tartan.) This part of my heritage has contributed to my faith and entrepreneurial spirit. It also probably informed my thesis, Nonprofit Best Practices Managing Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Volunteers in the Bible Belt.
I am American. I believe in equal opportunity, am passionate, independent, follow the rule of law, and sometimes laugh too loud. I'm honored The President of the United States awarded me The President’s Volunteer Service Award (Gold).
As a true Southerner, I have a big heart, am hospitable, and take a while to tell a story. I founded Doing Good, the 501c3 nonprofit which uses storytelling to celebrate volunteers (and provides their agencies free marketing and public relations).
As an individual, I am a creative problem solver, enjoy challenges, and am "resourceful," a.k.a. frugal. This combination proves helpful for clients, particularly nonprofits. For example, I spent less than $10,000 on one campaign and achieved more impressions than the launch of a couple new M & M's characters with a budget of $1 million.
